What Is the RTA-Mandated Test?
The RTA-mandated test is a compulsory certification process that evaluates both the behavioral fitness and language proficiency of commercial drivers. It must be completed before a commercial permit is issued.

English Language Test

Character Test
The RoadsLink Character Test assesses key behavioral traits that influence driving performance. It focuses on emotional control, responsibility, and rule compliance to ensure safe driving, professional conduct, and positive passenger interactions.
Roadslink Steadiness Test
The test measures a driver’s hand-eye coordination and focus under pressure. The individual must place a dot accurately inside a series of small circles without touching the edges, testing precision, control, and sustained attention over time.
Eye-Hand Coordination Test
The Test evaluates a driver’s precision and focus. The participant must guide a line through a maze using a mouse without touching the edges. The test measures accuracy and control, with scores based on the number of successful gaps completed.
